A grating is generally a consistently spaced group of elongated elements which are usually prepared in single sets however it may even contain two sets in which the second one is generally perpendicular to the first one. The two perpendicular sets together are also called mesh. Usually these gratings are used heavily for the construction of plants, highways, roads and so on. There exist various grating products such as bar grating, steel grating and fiberglass grating all of which are of extreme importance in the construction business.
Fiberglass grating is gaining popularity across the world for use in many industrial applications some of which are platforms, ladders, trench grates, floors, handrails and stairs. It is known to adapt in the different construction environments owing to its unique properties.

Steel Grating is strong, robust, durable and reliable when compared to stone, aluminum and fiber grating. The area of application of steel grating is wider that it can be used in almost all the places, buildings and structures. Mostly used in industries, it is also used in sidewalks, staircases, buildings, elevators, ladders, etc.
In the industries, steel grating finds use as mezzanine floors, manhole covers, stair treads, handrails, etc. The use of steel grating depends upon the load that it needs to bear upon itself. Both Carbon Steel and Stainless Steel are used to make bar grating strong and durable, welded with new technology that uses both hydraulic pressure and electric current.
The cross bar spacing allows the amount of light and air that you need available. You can decide prior according to its purpose and have them spaced according to how much of light or air you want inside. When used as floors, it can correspond with the size of the waste materials that would result from the production process. Bar grating provides friction even when it is wet with water or mud.
Bar grating is maintenance free and is corrosion resistant. The tensile strength is also far too high which means heavy objects can be placed or moved over them. The durability is also high that damages could be minimal to negligible over a long period of time. Frames that support the flooring can be minimal that the installation is not that difficult and does not consume much time.
