ONYX - Pinoy Open-Source Technologies (ONYX) is a not-for-profit, voluntary organization to promote Open Source (OS) Philosophy in the Philippines. It was initiated as a umbrella organization of different OS groups and organizations in Manila and now evolves as one of the coordinating hubs for OS related activities in the Philippines.
August 6, 2008 - ONYX, the filipino volunteer organization for hardware and software R&D has just re-launched their main website.
"The previous site dealt mainly with international audience and was not structured to cater for the local community," said Gil Dolosa, the group's founding member.
“It was also rather unwieldy and some information awkward to access. The new site is simplified, and contains much more information and updated news about the firm, our offices, different services, events, our resources and capabilities, while still possessing capabilities for interested visitors to drill down and gain access to our other primary regional intelligence websites.”
The site went live today and will also provide a wide variety of information regarding design, implementation and testing of electronics and software platforms shortly.

DBTC 8690 or otherwise known DBMAnda 8690 Incorporated is a group of past pupils of Don Bosco Technical College, Mandaluyong City, Philippines. It was formed approximately three years ago to rekindle the friendship of our elementary [1986] and high school [1990] days.
Patron Saint Starting out with only a few pioneering individuals [Ariel Esquillo, Dion Asencio, and others] now we have grown to over a hundred members and still counting. It is our hope to see and hear from every alumnus of our batch. Our objectives have also evolved to reflecting St. John Bosco's values and teachings. Among these are to help our fellow Bosconians and Filipinos and to prepare for our silver anniversary where we are tasked to host the 2015 Alumni Homecoming.
