My work is mainly based on the African style, tellings stories about the early time of Cuba. Indeed when the slaves used to come from Africa in order to work in the sugarcane fields, the only way for them to escape the hard reality of their work, was the music.
They used whatever they could find to build music instrument such as threes, animals and fruits. The colors are also based on the "Santeria", sort of religion imported from Africa.
