My work is mainly based on the African style, tellings stories about the early time of Cuba. Indeed when the slaves used to come from Africa in order to work in the sugarcane fields, the only way for them to escape the hard reality of their work, was the music.

My name is Jorge Felix Hernandez, and I am a painter who lives in Cuba, Trinidad. My paintings are mainly based on the trans-African-Cuban cuban and abstract style as well.
All my paintings are done with 100% natural based colors, I am using what I find in the nature in order to create myself all the colors I need, mainly earth colors.
